Terms of Use

These terms govern access to and use of King County Court Docket. Visiting a page, reading its material, or submitting a search means that you accept these conditions. Do not continue using the site if you disagree with them.

NO FCRA USE. King County Court Docket is privately owned and has no connection to a government body or court. Neither this site nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit decisions, employment screening, tenant screening, insurance eligibility, or another Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) purpose. The material helps readers locate King County, Texas docket and record sources. We are neither a private investigation firm nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site, operated independently of every court and government office. It does not keep official dockets, retrieve records on demand, file documents, or set or change a hearing.

Its role is to identify sources such as the 50th District Clerk, King County Clerk, Justice of the Peace, relevant trial courts, and Texas search systems. Some pages also connect visitors to independently operated search tools.

2. Informational Use Only

All content is general information. Explanations of King County court records are not the official docket, a court order, or legal advice. Treat the material as a starting point and confirm important facts with the clerk or court holding the original record.

3. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the site is conditioned on these restrictions. You may not:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Our advertising partners do not make these pages an approved source for regulated decisions. Information here or through a linked tool must not be used to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A report intended for a regulated purpose must come from a provider that complies with the FCRA.

5. No Legal Advice

No content is legal advice. General descriptions of King County dockets cannot determine how a charge, order, deadline, or case rule affects a particular person. Consult a licensed Texas attorney for advice.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

The site and all material are supplied "as is." We make no guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Dockets change as cases are filed, hearings move, and matters are amended, sealed, or dismissed. Updates may not appear at once. No statement here is an official statement by a clerk or court. Verify each court date and docket entry with the office that maintains the case.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links lead to clerk sites, trial-court portals, Texas search systems, legal-aid resources, and outside services. Each destination has its own terms. We do not control its content, privacy practices, pricing, accuracy, or availability, so review its rules before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to King County Court Docket or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or adapted without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the site, its information, or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims or demands arising from your use of the site or breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. Any dispute related to use of the site must be brought in a court located in Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A revised version takes effect when it is posted on this page.
